2019 is our 35th Anniversary Year

Our Group was established in 1984 and over the past 35 years hundreds of local volunteers, well-wishers and riders have worked hard to create a special environment for therapeutic riding. We will post some special memories from the Archive and news of events for Friends, past and present, shortly. In the meantime, do take a look back at the highlights of 2018 HERE

2019 also marks the 50th Anniversary of RDA, which is now a national network of 500 volunteer groups who deliver riding, carriage driving, vaulting, and Hippotherapy to over 25,000 people each year and continues to challenge the perceptions of disability, volunteering and equestrian sport.

Polly Retires to The Horse Trust

Polly moved to The Horse Trust, Speen http://www.horsetrust.org.uk/ in December.

Now aged 28, she has been an exceptional NYRDA pony since 2008, helping countless riders gain confidence and independence, win rosettes in Handy Pony and Dressage competitions and learn about stable management.
